So you have fallen in love and are ready for a relationship.
NOT…big mistake
If that’s all you do then it probably wont last very long.
The go will slowly destroy it from within.
You need to disconnect your ego to give your relationship a chance.
Love is just the spark to bring 2 people together, but just as in a fireplace, if you don’t add more wood ( care, affection, attention, thoughtfulness, consideration) then eventually the fire will die out.
There are 10 steps you need to follow for a successful relationship.
1.	Meet someone that has attracted you because of their looks, their intelligence, their view points, their talents, etc. it doesn’t matter what attracted you
2.	Start talking them to see if there is interest on their side
3.	If there is and then start comparing likes, dislikes, hobbies, dreams and aspirations, short and long term goals, their habits-do they smoke drink, take drugs, gamble and to what degree, if they want to have kids, how financially secure they are they, so you can discover how compatible you are
4.	Start spending time together…not dating ( When you date..you put your best foot forward..you will never see your partners faults, emotional baggage, and mental warts…
        You need to see them, to see if you are comfortable with them or not.
If you are,  then you have to acknowledge that they exist, but don’t expect them to disappear.
You have to treat them like they are part of the woodwork, the furniture and background noise that exists but you don’t pay it any mind.

5.	Once you have decided to accept them, you can move forward..now in the 1st 3 months usually the ego is pushed to the back and you will do anything and everything to please your partner..no mater if you used to like it or not..( I call that the honeymoon phase).
However after the 3 rd month, the Ego will insist to be back in charge, and all of a sudden we become selfish and then the relationship breaks.
So we have to disconnect the Ego and get rid of the selfishness.
We do that by focussing on the emotional needs of your partner , not your own.. this way your Ego has no say in your decisions on how to satisfy your partners needs.
    6 .     So we cut out the Ego from interfering with our emotional needs, but what about the rest of the           relationship when we have to make decisions that have nothing to do with our emotional needs  .
Wel,l we cut out the ego by not focussing on ourselves. Instead we treat the relationship as if it was our baby. When you have a child, everything revolves around the baby..Whatever is best for the baby is usually how decisions are made. So now we do the same thing with our relationship.. all decisions are referred to as how they would impact the baby ( our relationship)
This also r4emoves the unfairness of compromise where usually both parties are unhappy about the outcome. Neither party is really satisfied.
